Jacquie was known at the office as really conservative individual who had a superb work record. She in no way went to any of the happy hours immediately after work and it was known throughout the workplace that she was quite a spiritual person who frequently talked about the hazards of alcohol abuse and dependency on alcohol in the U.S..
Try to imagine the surprise in the company when one Monday AM Jacquie did not show up for work and not a soul had heard from her. In truth, it wasn't until approximately 11:30 in the morning that the human resources department received a phone call about Jacquie from the county jail.

The Human Resources manager told Jacquie that she needs to schedule an appointment with somebody inside the company employee's assistance program to discuss any possible drinking issue that she might have. The Human Resources manager also stated that she really needs to discuss her need to employ a DWI lawyer to represent her concerning her "drunk driving" case.
Not only this but the Human Resources director told Jacquie that it was positive that she really wanted to employ a "drunk driving" lawyer mainly because of the difficulties and difficult implications that are associated with a "drunk driving" conviction. Just before finishing their discussion, the Human Resources manager told Jacquie that it was quite positive that she doesn't seem to have any long term alcohol effects. The Human Resources director stated that this is relevant because according to some of the most recent alcoholism statistics and facts, the long term effects of alcohol not only destroy a person's health, but that they can also ruin any and all meaningful relationships the alcohol dependent person may have.
Jacquie thanked the Human Resources manager for his supportive and encouraging thoughts and then took the elevator to the company employee's assistance program go over her DUI arrest, her participation in excessive and unhealthy drinking drinking over the weekend, and her desire to retain a "driving while intoxicated" attorney to represent her "driving under the influence" case. After listening to Jacquie's "story", the doctor that was part of the company employee's assistance program described Jacquie's immediate "plan of action" that she needed to address and follow.
First, she would be required to take a DUI class to learn more DUI Facts and information. Second, she would also have to attend and alcohol abuse class to address her probable problem drinking. And finally, it would be an especially pragmatic thing to do if she were to meet with a DUI Attorney about her "drunk driving" arrest.
